Fiber Optic Installation in El Salvador

Pulling, splicing, and certification of single-mode and multimode fiber optics for backbones, building-to-building links, and data centers.

Maximum bandwidth

Fiber optics for enterprise networks

Fiber optics transmit data using light, enabling very high-speed links over long distances without electromagnetic interference. It is the ideal foundation for your network backbone, connections between buildings, warehouses, or industrial facilities, and your data center links.

At LAN EL SALVADOR we handle the pulling, fusion splicing, and certification of single-mode and multimode fiber optics. Every link is tested with measurement equipment and delivered with a results report, labeling, and documentation.

Solutions

Fiber optic services we offer

Single-mode

For long distances and links between buildings or sites with maximum bandwidth.

Multimode

For short distances inside the building, vertical backbone, and data centers.

Building-to-building links

We connect facilities, warehouses, and buildings within the same complex with high-performance fiber.

OTDR Certification

Loss testing and reflectometry (OTDR) with a technical report, ours or third-party.

Where we install it

When should you use fiber optics?

If your distances exceed 100 meters of UTP cable or you need more speed and stability, fiber is the answer.

  • Backbone between the telecom room and every floor
  • Links between buildings, warehouses, and industrial facilities
  • Connecting data centers and server rooms
  • Long-distance IP camera networks
  • Environments with electrical interference (industrial plants)
  • Expansion and repair of existing links

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about fiber optics

What is the difference between single-mode and multimode fiber?
Single-mode fiber has a very thin core and is ideal for long distances. Multimode has a thicker core and is used over short distances, such as a backbone inside a building or a data center.
What is fiber optic splicing?
It is the process of permanently joining two fiber strands with an electric arc, producing very low-loss splices. It is performed with a specialized fusion splicer.
What is OTDR certification for?
The OTDR measures link length and detects losses, splices, and faults along the fiber. The report proves the installation meets the required parameters and serves as backup for warranties.
Can you repair or certify fiber installed by another company?
Yes, we diagnose, repair, splice, and certify existing links, even if we didn't install them.
How much does a fiber optic project cost?
It depends on the distance, fiber type, strand count, required pathways, and accessories. We quote each project after evaluating the routes, with no charge for the initial quote.
